He is survived by: his son James French of Brooklyn; his sisters, Pamela French of Waltham, Massachusetts and Kathy Robbins (Larry) of Chesterfield, New.; his children, Kate and Kevin; his sister Sandra Ruland of Wayland; and his nieces and nephews, Cate and William.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Foundation to support stroke recovery and prevention programs.
