He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Thomas Henry and Lieselotte (Lola) Peebles; wife: Patricia Ann Peebles (Pat); siblings: Mary Louise Peebles, Rebecca Geraldine Peebles Wheeler (Tony) and Robert Franz Peebles (Jenifer); children: William Kevin Peebles (Robert), Kathy Lynn Dickerson (Tracy), William Keith Peebles (Melody), Paula Short (Lawrence) and Michael Stacey (Jennifer); grandchildren: 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren; pastor: Delbert Ragsdale; pall bearers: Robert Peebles, Tony Wheeler, Johnny Donnell, Brandon Wilson, Michael Stacey and Wayne Thomley; honorary pallbearers: John McCall, David Johnson, Glenn Faircloth, James Earl Hall, Clark Carraway and Bob Brock; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bratt Godwin Cemetery (5841 Godwin Cemetery Road, Century, Community).
