He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer J. Davis and Nellie Dove Davis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Godwin Davis of Davisville; his children, Jimmie Douglas "Doug" Davis Jr. (Jeannine) of Brooksville, Brian Davis (Susie) of Walnut Hill, Karen Jay (Frank) of Atmore and Kay Ashcraft Cook (Brad) of Daphne, Alabama.; his brother Lawrence "Bobby" Davis of Hubbard's Landing, Alabama.; his grandsons, Jason Whitfield, Travis Ashcraft, Alex Davis, John Wesley Cook and Shane Fitzgerald; his great-nephew John Davis III; Bird. He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
