He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Carnley and Hattie Carnley Williamson; his stepfather Rufus Williamson; his siblings, Betty Price, Martha Lou Shivers, Minnie Marie Turk and James Carnley, Jr.; his stepdaughter Cindy Stephens; and his granddaughter Chasity Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Justin Carnley (Cassandra) of Seminole, AL., Eric Risley of Texas and Ashley Bryant; his siblings, Eddie Carnley (Barbara) of Milton, FL., Simmie Earl Carnley and Dottie Ladnier; and his grandchildren, Sierra Carnley, Jace Carnley and Jeremiah Carnley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
