He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Whittaker Johns and Neita Belle Brock Johns; and his sisters, Mae Belle Hurt, Pearline Thomlinson and Doris Arnold.
He is survived by: his brothers, James F. Johns and Carl L. Johns (Sharon); and his friends, David Pippin and Mike Andler. He is also survived by forty-two nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the McAlpin Funeral Home (8261 US-90, Sneads, FL 32460). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
