She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Valentine (Buddy) and Joyce Hilliard; and her husband James Brown. She is survived by: her sisters, Elaine Hines (Curtis), Dorothy McColskey (Ronnie), Karen Pendergrass and Robin Chaires (Tommy); her stepmother Margie Valentine; and her caregiver Ive Baxter.
