He was predeceased by : his parents, J. C. Edison and Annie Rae Edison; and his siblings, Bill Edison (Patricia) of Bainbridge and Linda Hasson (Dick) of Gainesville. He is survived by : his siblings, Judy Markley of Markle, Gail Faircloth of Chiefland, Edward Edison (Janice) and Jeff Edison (Teri). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings can be made in his name to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Chiefland.
