Kay leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kay’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kay will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Lazarus and William "Bill" Lazarus; her husband Roman W. Putchaven; her daughter-in-law Dina Wasson; and her brother-in-law David "Dave" Wood.
She is survived by: her sister Lucy Wood of North Palm Beach, Florida; and her children, Stewart Wasson (Kari) of Trenton, Florida, Tony Wasson (Andrea) of Chiefland, Florida and Renee Eller (Pete) of Tampa, Florida.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chiefland Cemetery (520 SE 5th Ave, Chiefland, FL 32626).
