He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Lee Sheppard (Roberts) and Samuel Melvin Sheppard Sr. Kirven. He is survived by: his siblings, Samuel Melvin Sheppard Jr. (Gloria) and Pamela Lee Owens (Sam); and his nieces and nephews, Jason Warren Owens, Joseph Samuel Owens (Marissa), Christine Sheppard and Crystal Lee Rodriguez (Michael). He is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.
