She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilda Edna Fortmayer and Thomas Joseph Armand Torres; and her son-in-law Michael "Mac" Patrick McNerney. She is survived by: her husband Vanoy "Jack" W. Cox; her brother Hiram Torres; her daughter Michelle Edna Cox McNerney (McNerney); her granddaughter Maegan Aline McNerney Azar; her son Robert "Bobby" Michael Cox; her daughter-in-law Debbie Fox Cox; and her grandson Jacob Cox. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (4050 US-27 ALT, Chiefland, FL 32626).
