He was predeceased by: his brothers, James "Jimmy" Danner, Ronald Glenn Polk and Gary F. Danner. He is survived by: his spouse Geralene Curry Polk; his children, Gerald Glenn Polk and Shelia Marie Polk; his grandchildren, Austin Mitchel Polk (Taylor) and Kaitlynn Nicole Brown (Ray Brown); and his sister Dorothy Polk Nimmons.
