It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean McDonald (Chiefland, Florida), who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Wilma's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wilma has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Patrick McDonald; her parents, Eugene Marks and Mindy Duncan; her stepfather Ray Murphy; and her daughter Jo Ann Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, James R. McDonald, Patricia Jean Durdin and Debbie Kay Fox; and her sisters, Shirley Baker, Martha Lambry, Johnnie Ruth Murphy, Lisa Kay Webberfer and Mary Rae Elmore. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
