He was predeceased by: his daughter Lorrie Jean Wilkins; and his parents, Jesse Abbott and Pansy Purvis Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Abbott; his son Paul Abbott (Melissa); his son-in-law Dean Wilkins; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor (Ryan), Tamarah (Rick), Corrie and Will. He is also survived by three sisters; and twelve great-grandchildren.
