He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Wilson and Mary Strange Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Burton Wilson Jr. (Jodie) and LaTreva Wilson Thompson (Bob); his sister Mary Fox; his grandchildren, Megan Hansen (Alex), Malinda Hollowell (Montana), McKenna Erickson (Jake), Mylee Wilson, Kent Satterfield (Merriah), Ammon Williams, Jared Williams (Carissa), Courtney Williams, Hailey Ward (Matt) and Whitney Crews (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Everly, Emma, Emerson, Oaklynd, James, Wesley, Rowan, McCoy and Owen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (3080 Northridge Lane, Bonifay, Florida 32425). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
