It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Thomas Pettis Sr. of Chipley, Florida, who passed away at the age of 64, on June 6, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Myrl Pettis and John "Jake" Pettis; and his sister Joyce Elizabeth Carmichael. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Phillips Pettis; his sons, David Thomas Pettis Jr. (April) and John Phillip Pettis (Ashley); his grandchildren, Landen Dwayne, Cy Nathaniel, Jake Lee, Kiptyn Phillip, John-William Rafe and Adrian Trena LaDawn (Connor); his great grandchild Cash Hayes; his brothers, Dennis Lee Finch (Terri), Donald Ray Finch and Danny Earl Pettis (Terisa); his brother-in-law Timmy Smack Odom (Lori); and his aunt Ruth Helen Thomas. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
