He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Walters and Christale White (Pate); and his brothers, Ira Walters, John Walters and Timothy Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Walters and Alisha Walters of Greenhead, Florida; his grandchildren, Destiny (Julian Bearden), JD, Elana and Karter; his great grandchildren, Lyla and Cohen Bearden; and his friend Barbara Riley.
