She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Grimes and Bennie Davis Grimes; and her brother James Grimes (Alta Sewell Grimes). She is survived by: her brother Henry Grimes (Susan); her son Kelley Davis Slay (Kelly); her granddaughters, Riley Slay Liguori (Michael) and Megan Slay Bosley (William); and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Wynn and Campbell. She is also survived by her son and his growing family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (658 5th St, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery.
Donations to the church in Joann's memory are requested in lieu of flowers.
