He is survived by: his wife Merle Cherry of Chipley, Florida; his children, Tim Cherry (Carrie) of Chipley, Robyn Cherry (Gerri) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Sonya Johnston (Barry) of Mesquite, Texas; and his sisters, Liz, Evelyn and Gloria of Blakey, Georgia. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
