He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Ammons; his daughter Donna Walker; his brother Dalton Powell; and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his father Alton Powell; his wife Julie Merle Morris of Chipley, FL; his daughters, Terri Powell Wickersham of Goodwater, AL, Lynn Powell Riner (Jerry) of Senoia, GA and April Powell Martinez of Chipley, FL; and his grandchildren, Cathy, Bo, Jessica, Wes, Zach, Jacob, Elijah, Cory, Aura and Julia. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Rd, Chipley, FL 32428).
