She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Whidden and Annabelle Whidden (English); her husband Charley E. Hicks Sr.; her children, Charley Hicks Jr. and Sharon Pardon; and her sister Pat Beck.
She is survived by: her children, Mary "Tina" Winter of Chipley, Florida and Carnelious Kelly of Chipley, Florida; and her siblings, Mary Lou Waddell, Loretta Whidden, Gwendolyn Wolfhagen and Horis Whidden. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins.
