She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McLendon and Ola McLendon. She is survived by: her sons, James Davis Jr. and Robert Davis (JoBeth); and her pets, Bocephus, Daisy Dukes and Junebug.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home (1068 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Tobatha's memory be honored through the things she cared about so deeply—children, education, the outdoors, and dogs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Choctawhatchee River Labs youth program or to local classrooms in support of teachers and students.
