Though Fortunato has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his parents, Luigi Lonetti and Susan DeRenzo Lonetti; his sisters, Emilia "Amy" Colonna (Sandro) and Maria Teresa Lonetti; and his siblings' children, Marcello, Nino Colonna and Sabrina Colonna. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511).
