It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Demetra Liakos of Clearwater Beach, Florida, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband George Liakos; and her siblings, Haralambos Pilarinos, Georgios Pilarinos, Ioannis Pilarinos, Mixalis Pilarinos, Anastasia Mouzakis and Maria Marinos.

She is survived by : her daughters, Penny Lambrianos (Chris) of Tarpon Springs, Fla. and Dr. Rina Roula Bousalis of Pompano Beach, Fla.; her granddaughters, Angela Bousalis of Miami, Fla., Dr. Deanna Bousalis Chu (Winston) of North Potomac and Eleni Lambrianos of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; her brothers, Eustathios Pilarinos and Spyridon Pilarinos; her sister-in-law Soula Pilarinou; and her cousin Greece. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church building fund or the St. Nicholas St. Dionysios Chapel of Tarpon Springs building fund.
