She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee McComas; her parents, Felix Palomá and Barbarita Vizcaya of Palomá; and her siblings, Rosa Herrera, Azael Palomá and Dr. Luis Palomá.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven McComas (Jennifer) and David McComas; her close friend Mark Waldron; and her granddaughter Anna Maria McComas. She is also survived by her brother, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
