He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnhart and Isolde Krueger Barnhart; and his son-in-law Brian Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Shumaker; his children, Ann Barnhart and David Barnhart (Mandy); his grandchildren, Cage Barnhart, Faith Barnhart and Hatboro; his sister Rita Hutchings (Richard); and his brother-in-law Harold Shumaker (Carol). He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
