We are sad to announce that, on January 22, 2026, at the age of 77, Cathy Sue Giffin Guy (Clearwater, Florida), born in Mount Gilead, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Cathy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Cathy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Frank I. Giffin; her stepfather Horace McMullen; her mother Margorie Giffin McMullen; her brother Bill Giffin; and her sister-in-law Betty Guy Rolfe.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Guy; and her siblings-in-law, Albert, Linda Guy, Melba and Bill Suarez. She is also survived by her sixteen nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as five great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
