He was predeceased by: his former wife Emma Braisted; his son Timothy Braisted; his daughter-in-law Barbara Braisted; his grandchildren, Emma and Timothy Jr.; and his parents, Walter Braisted and Mary Vorek Braisted.

He is survived by: his children, Clifford Braisted (Susan), Sandra Lee (John), Carol Dondero (Louis), Cynthia Christiano (William), Emma Relay (Michael), Janice Mastromarimo (John Cole) and Eileen Leili (Frank). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
