He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Francis Moran and Margaret Shanahan Moran; his former wife Mary Ann Murphy Moran; his son William C. Moran; and his brother Joseph F. Moran.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cooke Moran of Clearwater; his son Robert W. Moran (Christina Feigley); his granddaughter Alyssa Moran of Holiday, FL; and his brother Attorney Philip D. Moran (Carole A. Regan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Dan was very active in retirement at the Oaks in Clearwater and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
