He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Valentine; and his brother Deane. He is survived by: his mother Roberta Johnsten Valentine; his wife Lisa; his children, Sophie Faro, Clayton, Bradley Engert, Steven and Rachel; and his siblings, Jim (Anne), Susan Stone (Mike) and Dale.
