It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elroy J. Nelson (Clearwater, Florida), who passed away on September 12, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Granzow of Eldora and Louise Granzow of Eldora; his brother Merlyn Nelson of Oakland; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Nelson of Oakland, Jerry Wallerstedt of Oakland, David Granzow of Eldora and Dennis Granzow of Eldora.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Nelson; his children, Stacey Troutman (Brian) of Stromsburg and Eric Nelson (Leeanda) of Clearwater; his sister Ruth Wallerstedt of Oakland; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Short of Fairfield Bay, Barbara Short of Fairfield Bay, Polly Granzow of Eldora and Susan Granzow of Eldora. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
