He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas and Eleni; his brother Thedoros (Efrosini) of Athens; and his nephews, Nicholas and Stavros.

He is survived by: his daughter Elaine Vakalopoulos of Cape Cod; his grandson Alex; his brother Harry; his sister-in-law Mary; and his nephews, George and John of Waltham, Massachusetts..
