She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmy Wiefel and Hermann Wiefel. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Polsky Roemer and Ethan G. Polsky; and her grandchildren, Jonas, Max, Charlie and Emmy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of Pinellas.
