He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayburn Baxter Harper and Lillian Harper. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Beaton (Pat Beaton), Eric Harper (Stephanie Caravia) and Greg Harper; his grandchildren, Jason Beaton Kaelyn Cronan, Kyler Duff (Ryan Duff), Grace Harper, Hope Harper, Milan Harper, London Harper and Natasha Caravia; his sister Sharon Kennedy; his brother-in-law Dan Kennedy; and his brother Donald Harper.
