In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janet had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janet may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Handschuh and Alfred Handschuh; and her sister Lois Bonnell. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Edward "Ted" O'Brien; her daughter Kathy Bell; her son-in-law Dan Bell; and her granddaughters, Leanne, Laura and Lilly Bell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Morton Plant Mease Memory Disorder Clinic.
