She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Powers and Victoria M. Fronczek; her husband Raymond; her stepson Michael Scott Slayton; her daughter-in-law Marlene Randolph; and her goddaughter Terry Green.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Shields (Lynda), Kevin Shields (Cathy), Kim Shields (Ann) and Sheryl Stanley (Mark); her stepchildren, Judith Tamburrino (Dan) and Robert Slayton; her siblings, Robert Powers (Joanne), Michael Powers (Maria), Susan Pusloskie (John), Linda Lee, Paul Powers (Pamela), George Powers (Joy) and Ronald Powers (Denise); her siblings-in-law, Jean Powers and Carl Mahon; her siblings, William Powers, Mary Powers, Jack Powers, Margaret Powers, William "Bill" Powers (Patricia), Winifred Frost (James) of New Port Richey, FL, Thomas Powers (Betty), Donald "Chief" Powers, Patricia Mahon and Allen Charles Powers (Claudia); and her brother-in-law Ronald Lee. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four godchildren and a large and loving extended family.
