She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Bernath and Willie Lee Bernath; and her brother Rod Bernath. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Kotlowski; her children, Dawn Graef and Shannon Stoll; her stepchildren, Tim (Amy), Scott (Amy) and Kim (Mike); her grandchildren, Haley, David, Erik and Rebekah; and her brother Phil Bernath (Lori).
