She was predeceased by: her parents, Ingvald Reinertsen and Sigrid Reinertsen; and her sister Violet. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Thompson; her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Anthony Ruiz, Jr.; her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Maria Thompson; her grandchildren, Taylor (AJ Sammis), Erin (Julie Ruiz), Katrina (Christopher Seger), Lynda Dedivanovic and Peter (Mary Dedivanovic); and her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Jackson, Harlow, Grayson, Willow and Landon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Copeland-Hammerl Funeral Home (162 S Putt Corners Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561).
