He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Albert Bright and Della Mae Ryals Bright; his siblings, Noah "N. A." Bright, Henry Bright, Raymond Bright and Dean Smith; his siblings-in-law, Robert Young, Burien Smith, Mary Ellen Bright, Betty Bright and Virginia McGuire; and his niece Emma Bright.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Ann Young Bright; his children, LeAnne Bright, Samuel Bright and Michael "Tony" Bright (Paige); his grandchildren, Jared "Jay" Bright (Mariah), Parker Bright (Jamie), Julianna Porter (Thomas), Melody Bright and Aaron Bright; and his great grandchildren, Whitley Bright, Siler Bright and Lincoln Bright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
