He was predeceased by : his former life partner Sharon Panczner-Hannifin. He is survived by : his son Chris Panczner; his daughter-in-law Olivia Panczner; his daughter Shawna Blauvelt; his son-in-law Andrew Blauvelt; and his grandchildren, Stone Blauvelt, Quinn Blauvelt, Katie Panczner and Will Panczner.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum .
