He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Helen Rice. He is survived by: his family Dr. Barbara Rice; his stepsons, Frankie (Haven), Sam (Angie), Dr. Daniel and Ben Hennessey (Kelly); his children, Will Rice (Yoshiko), Kelly Stuber (Daniel) and Greg Rice (Lariza); and his siblings, Barbara Jean Britson (Bob), Marty Georges (Jenny) and Ron Rice (Chris). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Harborside Chapel (2100 Marshall St, Safety Harbor, FL 34695).
His family chose Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home to prepare his body for anatomical donation to the School of Medicine, at the University of Florida, for research and educational purposes.
