He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Tate and Lily Mae Tate; and his sister Roberta Tate. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Elaine Tate; his children, Sundi Elaina Tate and Darron Tate; his sisters, Vernell Hill and Geraldine Newsome; and his grandchildren, Rocco and Teddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Smith Young Funeral Home Chapel (1005 Howard St, Clearwater, FL 33755).
