He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphin Bernardo and Dionisia Alcalde; and his siblings, Leonardo Bernardo, Joey Bernardo and Fely Lirio.
He is survived by: his wife Eliodora; his daughters, Leslie LaForty (Stephen) and Alma Wood; his granddaughter Mia; his stepgrandsons, Zayne LaForty and Xavier LaForty; and his siblings, Evy Villar, Fe Bantados (Efren), Lilia Bantados (Nanding), Lorena Ignacio (Rudy), Evie Villar and Bill Bernardo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
A funeral mass will follow on January 4, 2024 at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church The family requests in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Kidney Fund in Amado's name.
