He was predeceased by: his son Dennis; and his parents, Andrew Welu and Anna Welu. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his sons, Doug of Clermont, Todd (Karen) of Naperville, IL and Mark (Stacy) of University City, MO.; his grandchildren, Justin (Dusti), Chance Dickerson (Jenelle), Jerry Welu and Abby Welu; his siblings, Jane Duggan (Bill) of Dubuque, IA, Jim of Worcester, MA, David (Natalia) of Pensacola, FL, Carol (Richard Surrey) of Washington, D. C. and George (Judy) of Scottsdale, AZ.; and his sister-in-law Jane Gartner (Gene) of Dubuque, IA.. He is also survived by family gave him multiple godchildren, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
