It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan J Swanson of Clermont, Florida, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gordon Peterson and Mildred Peterson; her children, Susan Smith, Penny Peterson, Robin Dobies (Mike) and David Peterson; her grandchildren, Tom Dorak, Jr. (Maria), Heather Koppel (Ken), Adam Smith (Lauren), Dana Smith (Wanda), Nick Dobies (Jessica) and Justin Dobies (Suzanne); her husband Arthur Swanson; and her granddaughter Michelle Dobies.
