He was predeceased by: his father William Ralph McPherson Jr.; his stepmother Claire McPherson; and his brother-in-law John Francis Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ronda McPherson; his children, Corrie McPherson and John Joseph McPherson Jr. (Jenny); his grandsons, Daniel, Camden and Riley of Clermont; his sister Kathleen Smith of Lowell; and his niece Kelly Smith of Lowell, MA..
