Joseph Battisto Obituary

We announce the death of Joseph Battisto (Clermont, Florida), who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomasso Battisto and Philomena Battisto; his wife Patricia; and his adoptive son Larry Gordon Battisto. He is survived by: his son Thom Battisto; his close friend Wayne Murphy; his adoptive daughter Laura Gordon Battisto; his brother Louis Battisto; his grandchildren, JoAnn Corbett (Troy), Kathy Krienheder (Brian), Michael Battisto, Stephen Battisto and Bryan Battisto; and his great grandchildren, Collin Krienheder, Lili Corbett and Hudson Corbett.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (720 12th St, Clermont, FL 34711). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery.
