He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Holt Little McBride, Melonie Holt Yates and Leslie Holt-Pierce; his sister Naimah Hasan; his grandchildren, Beatrice Mathis (Timothy Mathis Jr.), Alicia Dennis, Eres Pierce and Joseph Yates; his great grandchildren, Morgan Mathis and Maverick Mathis; and also, David McBride, Joseph Yates and Leslie Pierce. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
