With sadness, we share the passing of Lee G. Newton (Clermont, Florida). Lee, born on August 7, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lee for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He is survived by: his parents, Darrell Dean Newton and Charmaine Caroline Dumas; his daughters, Stephanie Lynn, Kristen Charmaine and Mia Camilla; his grandson Nolan Lee; and his siblings, Nathan, Julie and Todd. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (806 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711). A Mass was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (720 12th St, Clermont, FL 34711). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery.
