He was predeceased by: his father LeMar Callaway; his former wives, Mattie Williams Callaway and Cedelle Callaway; his siblings, Richard Callaway, Charles Callaway, Arthur Callaway, Herman and Betty "Sylvia" Jean Wright; his brother-in-law Sam Wright; and his nephew Nathaniel T. Cole Callaway.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Neals Coleman Callaway of Clermont, Florida; his daughters, Sharron Williams (Aaron) of South Orange and Dr. Michelle Carpenter (Darryl) of Amityville; his grandchildren, Michael Aaron Williams (Maya) of Owings Mills, Dr. Elyce Dominique Johnson (Savion) of Cynwyd, Darryl Carpenter, Jr. (DJ), Darielle Carpenter of Philadelphia, Gabriel Azariah Williams of Jamaica, Martha Elana Powell (Tyrel) of Upper Marboro, Davon Carpenter of Amityville and Daron Carpenter of Amityville; his great grandchildren, Elijah Williams and Elaine Williams; his stepsons, Keith Sprinkle and Tony Sprinkle; his siblings, William of St. George, SC, Roscoe (Drucilla) of Chesapeake, VA, Marvin of Atlanta, GA, Nathaniel of St. George, SC, Timothy of Glen Arden, MD, Delmar (Charlotte) of Summerville, SC, LeMar, Jr. (Rose) of Virginia Beach, VA, Carolyn Breaker (Freddie) of St. George, SC, Eyvonne Hart (Darrell) of Statesboro, GA and Eyvette Jonson (Michael) of Hermitage, TN; his sisters-in-law, Delores Callaway Daniels of Randallstown, MD and Dorothy Callaway of Brooklyn, NY; and his aunt Samella Odom of St. George, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
