We announce the death of Sally Swords of Clermont, Florida, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Sally will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jenke and Emogene "Yahr" Jenke; and her brother Alan. She is survived by: her husband Donald Swords; her children, Dan of The Villages and Carol; her brothers, Ron Jenke and Art Jenke Jr. of Washington; her granddaughters, Danielle Tracy of Eugene and Nicole Swords of Mesa; and her great grandchildren, Connor and Caden Tracy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (16173 Marsh Rd, Winter Garden, FL 34787). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (901 East Ave, Clermont, FL 34711).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Winter Garden.
